One Vision shirt design

I was asked by a fantastic Freddie Mercury-related project, called One Vision, to stylize a Freddie on a t-shirt design. This was my first time using the pencil tool as well as my first time creating a vector portrait in Illustrator CS5.
One of the project members created the design and I stylized the Freddie, using an original photograph and design as a template.
